About James P. Shea
Attorney Shea received a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from Loyola
University in Los Angeles, and then went on to earn a Ph.D. in English
Literature from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a Juris
Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in Los Angeles. He has 
taught English Literature and Business Law at both the undergraduate and
graduate levels.

Mr. Shea began practicing law in 1992, and for over twenty years has
continued to represent the disabled, and also to share his skills with the
community. He has done much pro bono service on behalf of the Cancer
Legal Resource Center (sponsored and operated through the auspices of
Loyola Law School), having been once nominated by that organization for
the California State Bar Association's Pro Bono Service Award. He has also
served as the Chairperson of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's
Social Security Section.

Mr. Shea is a Board Certified Social Security Disability Specialist,
certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a California State Bar Association approved agency. He is one of only a very few attorneys in California to be board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy for Social Security Disability Advocacy.
About Jennifer L. Cho
Jennifer L. Cho received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UCLA in 1989.  She earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of West Los Angeles in July, 1994.  Ms. Cho worked as a paralegal in the field of Social Security disability  at the Law Offices of Susan Wasserman throughout her undergraduate and law school studies, then joined the firm as an associate attorney upon being admitted to the bar in December, 1994.  Throughout her years practicing lawshe has worked exclusively in the field of Social Security disability and SSI law.  She has exceptional expertise in the interaction of Social Security disability and Workers Compensation benefit programs.

Ms. Cho joined our firm upon Ms. Wasserman's retirement in April, 2015.  We are fortunate and grateful to have such a capable, understanding and experienced attorney serving our clients.
